Do you meal plan? Meal planning has so many benefits associated with it:
Allows you to make healthier choices
Saves on grocery bills (when you stick to your list)
Reduces food waste
Keeps your fridge clean and organized
Saves you time – both at the grocery store, and when getting food on the table
While it can seem overwhelming, there’s really NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY to meal plan.
Here are some suggestions, to make it less daunting:
Try and set aside the same time every week to make your plan
Involve your children and family members so they get excited about the week’s upcoming meals
Store your old meal plans and favourite recipes, so you can reuse the ones you like
Jot down any meal ideas or exciting recipes you come across during the week
A little planning definitely goes A LONG WAY! And the more you meal plan, the easier it will become.
